Going Home
Hints and breadcrumbs are left but sometimes the doves devour them
Before our loved ones awaken and realize we are gone from this life
It is a shock to many – sometimes sad, sometimes a relief, sometimes grim
We are merely cycling into another realm. Do not be sad; it is the end of strife.
Who comes to make sure we are careful as we step into the next light?
It will be someone we trust, and have loved in this lifetime or another.
There are feelings of hope, love, joy, peace, relief and happiness. Not fright.
As our loved ones take us by the hand – often our father or our mother.
We walk away from all the sadness and turmoil in this unholy place.
Heaven is a realm where angels are busily getting rid of anxiety and woe.
Some say it is way up high in the clouds, somewhere up in cosmos space.
I know someone will be waiting to nurture and love me when it is time to go.
