God's In Control
God never promised,
That life would be fair,
But He did promise that,
He would always be there,
To help us along,
When life gets too tough,
When we're ready to quit,
And want to give up.
Life can be hurtful,
It can throw us some curves,
Be it trampling our dreams,
Or fraying our nerves.
Life isn't easy,
And it's not always fair,
But our God is good,
And He truly cares.
He may not remove us,
From the trials of this life,
But if we will trust Him,
He'll bring peace midst the strife.
God's ways are a mystery,
But this I do know:
My God is loving,
And He's still running the show.
