Notes About The Poem

"a sugar maple leaf contains infinity
a haiku contains God
a reader contains both
your life depends on the seeking

Seven mysteries
Four ciphers
One unseekable answer

the poem is not the mystery
the seeking is

come live in the gap"

- Poet

=======

God's Haiku

a sugar maple leaf slips free

                    counting toward One proof
                    the Seven Mysteries

God, I count prime gaps
I watch prime numbers growing
only primes orbit

a rule sends one step
loops return periods double
recursion counts One

an iteration
within fluid smoothness frays
water turns inward

can you see the curve
study elliptic rank shifts
findings test the rank

questions spiral out
unknown patterns circle back
pi bends into sight

a proof can be checked
still search cannot prove it now
checking outruns search

every loop turns east
the count folds back into form
through form, God's Haiku

the sugar-maple leaf settles on frost

children of the corn start to awaken

Wow! Love it! Inspiring! For sure God’s haiku would break all forms…and I love the graphics too. Cheers, James

When I saw your title was categorized in the form of a Haiku, my first thought was... "No, Daniel cannot contain himself to three lines." lol I was correct. You offer your readers seven wonderful features that somehow bridge to crossover between Haiku and Senryu... and all beautifully achieved! Mathematical equations and prime numbers are lost on me, but I appreciate the link you draw between God and all things. 🌹🕊️
