God Kept Me

God kept me through the
storm and the rain
He kept my sanity and
Keep me from going insane
He keeps me safe both
day and night
He gives me the strength
not to give up the fight
The battles are many but
they've already been won
The victory is mine
Through Jesus Christ
I have won
God gives me the strength
to keep that hope alive
I may have been knocked
down but I never stay down
With each trial there's a
lesson to be learned
I don't stand alone my angels
surround night and day
They fight for me
I might not see but they have
been sent to guard me
