Glared Reflections
Meanings gather emptiness;
As life pays back what was lent.
And issues of abandonment;
Became a message never sent;
The clock ticks to the heart beat;
And years have come and passed;
But it seems like only yesterday;
That hope was there to grasp.
And in the land of Commons;
With its glorious infusions;
They inundate with a wax and shine;
And bombard you with intrusions
And as you struggle through the nights;
With the failures of your quests;
The tsunami of complacency;
It comes to put your mind to rest.
