~ Girl on the Swing ~ Up on a swing Toes tickling the sky First time I saw her O, how I did sigh Golden braid a-swaying In light summer breeze Winsome smile, fair cheeks Prayed I, 'Pretty please,' Let her just look my way I'll get her attention Stand on my head all day... But her mother called to her then And off the swing she flew Never saw her again -- Still, girl on the swing ~ I'm in love with you
