Girl Immortal

"I have immortal longings in me. " Quote _William Shakespeare I have often wished to be immortal, and to exist in a life enduring; to find that perpetual realm and portal, and to be constantly world touring. Oh yes I would be a girl deathless, my life going on and on ever long-lasting; penning words and rhyming endless, things I would see leaving me breathless. my seconds, minutes, hours everlasting, but would I exist in a world friendless ! My beauty would be never-ending, from century to century living a life timeless; but my past sorrow would also be unending, often penning words dark and rhyme-less. Filling pages, and pages, and pages in a journal, I could never stay too long in any place; from country to country to country gliding, I imagine a life lived nocturnal. At times feeling the need to hide my face, who wants an existence that involves hiding ! So considering all I will remain me, accepting that years will make me frail; I now think that living life full is the key, accepting that my beauty will in time pale. But, I have the power to make words eternal, for I am blessed with the God given gift of words; and the gift of painting and photography sublime, so wishes for immortality I will keep internal. My words and poems will fly like birds, and will forever and ever future souls entwine ! "What would be the use of immortality to a person who cannot use well half an hour." Hello Constance - Good Morning. Please allow me to let your most extraordinary entry stand. There is nothing I could add. It is well thought out and executed. And yes, it is an entry to be read out loud with emphasis and feeling. Thank you for sharing such poetic talent. It was an honor turning to your page this morning. Have a wonderful weekend. Best wishes for the contest but this entry can stand on its own. Take care

As old age confirms, one soon grows weary of humanity making the same mistakes over and over again . . . . .Aloha!
