Gilbert and Lily At the Pond Picking-Up Frog's

If Gilbert and Lily put their feet in the pond How much water up to the knees if they slip and fall Oh, the yucky green algae green nasty moss Stains the clothing green that the children wear Oh, my now Gilbert's eating the wild mushrooms and turnips Smells like dirty fish water seaweed in their hair My none of this they seem to be worried or even care Clipping wild frogs off the lily pad that's all they need y'all Yes they just acting like tomboys Having fun at the pond Picking up them frogs!!!!!!! 9/9/19 Written by James Edward Lee Sr. 2019
