Giggling

Grand-daughters-
sounds as whispers in the trees,
look of innocence,green as leaves;
feel with softness of a warm breeze,kiss-
makes me pray..they stay like this !

Inspired by Karen' blog suggestion

This is such a touching poem, Brian. It is wonderful to watch them grow up but it is also sad. Those prcious years go too fast. Thanks for the info and sharing this delightful piece! Great inspiration! Love, Robin

Wow. You did such an amazing job with Karen's writing exercise. Such beauty in this precious analogy. Is there any doubt of the deep and inspiring love for your grand-daughters? By the way, I am expecting my first grandchild this fall - so excited! Such a beautiful poem capturing the essence of youth mixed with your adoration! I must try this exercise. Love, Shar

Hello Mr. Strand, while reading this short poem, my mind is traveling to the place where my grandchildren live. I miss them so much. I have posted a poem entitled Grandkids. I love this one. Ernilando.
