Gift Given Mcgee

Gift Given McGee by JT Curtis Nov 2017

Well, it didn't take long for time to move on
And again, it was that time of year
There Ole' McGee, sat in the pub
With Finn by his side drinking beer

"Valentines day is soon on the way"
Said Finn as he held up his glass
"And what pray tell, did you procure
For your loyal and wee loving lass

McGee raised his glass and donned a broad smile
And remarked "I sure hate to brag
But when at the store, I spared no expense
As I bought her a new belt and bag"

Now Finn spoke up " McGee, your wife
will be glad it isn't a sweater"
Then McGee replied while releasing a sigh
"I just hope the vacuum works better"

McGee then turned, asking young Finn
"And what did you get your sweet bride"
" She couldn't make up her mind " said Finn
"So I gave her year to decide "
