Ghost ship haunts restless seas Silent trip on the breeze It's debt a spirit's plight A silhouette at night A pall for sails to roam To call the ocean home 8-10-2021 Example For Contest

What comes to mind with this eerily beautiful poem are the millions of sailors that died and drowned during WW11 when their ships were torpedoed and sunk into the deep blue seas. So well penned Joseph. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Drifting on waves at night while moments are silent, can be a little eerie. You paint such vivid images with your words. ~ Brandy
