Ghost In Halloween
A ghost accosted his counterpart
“Let’s have a talk heart to heart”
It was that dark night of Halloween
People dressed as ghosts and goblin!
“They mock ghosts all over this town”
“Dressed as skeletons in black gown”
“Painted faces with blood and tooth”
“Nothing at all like us to tell the truth!”
“ Don’t know why I wander the Earth”
“Is it some curse or personal dearth?
“Tell me why I should pay this price?”
“To you my wife, have I not been nice?”
His counterpart screamed with recoil
Tipping over in fright like on motor oil
“I swear by Jesus’s Cross in my hand”
“Just seen the ghost of my husband”!
