In todays world if you want to communicate via texting with the younger generation, you really need to be hip to all the abbreviations they use when they text. Here are just a few.

My mother had texted me this morning She said "son do you think you are keen?" She asked me "what do IDK... LY and TTYL mean?" I texted her back...I Don't Know Love You, and Talk To You Later....mother She said "no worries son...I Love You too... I will go ask your brother"

Good idea for Mom. She's gtg hip or s'g fall btts nb OTL! Btw, I took all those whatever-they-ares from how we used to write on the back of cards in the financial office I worked in in the early-mid 1970's! G'day Lindsay... Be careful what you say about living in my mums world, mate... my mum lives 6 feet under (lol) she passed 25 yrs. ago...but I hear you about the text language. If it weren't for my kids I would be as lost as you my friend. And yes, a U is a female sheep (hehe) Thank you....Charlie
