Georgia Ruby
I would say I miss you
But I never got to meet you
I got to hold you
But I never got to see your smile,
I got to stare at your perfect beautiful face
But I never got the chance to see the sparkle in your eyes,
My heart broke that day
Never to heal again,
Now I live with an ache
Deep within my soul,
I wish I could have seen you
And had the pleasure to watch you grow
But I was denied that for reasons I don’t know
All it needed was a single breath
And it could have all been different.
But just know one thing my baby girl,
Daddy loves you so,
And that I can’t let the pain go
Because it’s the only thing I have left of you to hold.
