Notes About The Poem

Gently Falling Snow-Ws

Peaceful is the dusk
When snow is softly falling
And ruby sun's just faded

Snowy hills beckon
to eager ones, sledding soon
in the gladsome days of youth!

Some of my kids are heading up to the snowy peaks this evening, I wish we could tag along! Your sweet poem makes me smile as I think of their fun, and the joy for my grandson who has never known snowy sunsets. Such a sweet poem Evelyn :) <3

I'm sure anyone who has ever been a child in a region where it snows, can understand the youthful delight of frolicking in the snow. Thank you so much for your appreciative remarks, BJ. Blessings and hugs.

You take me soothing back, to far less turbulent times, when snow and a day off from school was my world of sledding. Love it!
