Screaming whistle . Start! Puck drops. Clattering sticks, splintering on ice Crowd roars Skates scrape, Sweat stinks Ice sprays, Blood splatters, Player down! Ear splitting whistle . Stop! a different kind of vignette

That's Ice Hockey for u.. saw enought Flyers games and everything u describe on that ice is true... great job Robert and thankxxx so much for your wonderful comments on my poetry... glad u liked the epigram which received a less than quaint comment from the new poet hammering everyone... sorry for him.. he is missing the boat .. and the point of this site..
