Frozen
As I walk across the frozen lake
The ice crunches neath my feet
I walk towards a barren horizon
As a cold wind brushes against ruby cheeks
Lost deep in thoughts so scrambled
I've no sense of time at all
The cold and dark envelop my soul
I'm barely conscious when I fall
I feel no cold sensations
Just an overwelming warmth so deep
I surrender to angelic arms
As I give in to blissful eternal sleep
I look down upon my frozen body
As I drift towards the heavenly skies
I think of my empty life encased in ice
It was a fitting way to die.
