Frost glistened in the sun, shining bright
Across the grass, with sparkles in the light
Crispy frozen leaves lay fallen still
Not a sound could be heard on the hill
Cold fresh air slowly wakened the mind
To everything in this new day to find
As the hours pass, the frost will melt
Into new scenes to be seen and felt
Absorbed by the soul with each step ahead
Where the beauty and peace will be wed
