Frost glistened in the sun, shining bright Across the grass, with sparkles in the light Crispy frozen leaves lay fallen still Not a sound could be heard on the hill Cold fresh air slowly wakened the mind To everything in this new day to find As the hours pass, the frost will melt Into new scenes to be seen and felt Absorbed by the soul with each step ahead Where the beauty and peace will be wed Heidi Sands 11/9/17

This is a beautiful write my friend! So peaceful with each and every word! I just love a good frost...we had one today too! Its a wonderful thing to see a white ground twinkling in the sunlight before it melts into oblivion! The leaves just add to the wondrous colors of Autumn, a beauty in its own right! Your poem enlightens me and makes me feel good! What a glorious piece Heidi, Great Work!!
