From Up There
I saw a boy with hands closed in prayer
Beside him his mother cried in despair
Can I assist asked I
She looked up to the sky
“Ask glue remover to drop from up there.”
*+*
And glue remover from the heavens did fall
Hallelujahs rang out from one and from all
But the boy looked about "I'm just being devout
My hands weren't glued together at all".
