I wrote this poem for a couple that I recently met. They are two musicians that harmonize perfect together in every way. They are currntly putting some music to the lyrics, I'm sure it will be beautiful when done.
HER-
From the moment that I met you
When we were all alone
I knew that you were right for me
Because I heard it in your tone
Him-
When we were walking through the park
On that quiet summer's night
You were in my comfort zone
And you made me feel just right
Both-
I loved you from that moment
And I love you more each day
I love you any way you are
Even on a cloudy day
Her-
From the moment that I met you
When we both shared a smile
I felt like Cleopatra
In a boat upon the Nile
Him-
From the moment that I met you
When we were holding hands
I felt like Julius Caesar
The ruler of the lands
Both-
I loved you from that moment
And I love you more each day
I love you any way you are
Even on a cloudy day
Her-
When I walked with you in the moonlight
And it glowed into your eyes
Him-
Sshh my love, I saw it too
And it made me realize
Him-
When I walked with you through the park
On that quiet summer's night
Her-
Sshh my love, I felt it too
And it made me feel just right
Both-
I loved you from that moment
And I love you more each day
I love you any way you are
Even on a cloudy day
