From the Lips of Juliet

Two young hearts beat as one, From clans of a driven wedge. On the cusp of forbidden lust, They dance on a razor's edge. "Wherefore Art Thou," is the cry, From soft lips of ruby red. "Oh hearken to my words of love, Fore our time on Earth has fled." "As my Father did command, My hand betrothed to Paris." "But of his wish I must betray, For the Fates will surely spare us." Hand in hand she made this vow, From one spirit to the other. "I pledge to Thee thine own soul, Though promised to another." To escape what was bartered, Juliet chose to feign her death. Romeo then knelt beside her, And poison took his final breath. Awakening to his tragic end, No one else would understand. "I now say goodnight sweet Prince, As I take dagger now in hand."
