From the Hollow of An Avocado

Sipping champagne from the hollow of an avocado, on a cactus-lined boulevard in St. Looie While munching on anchovies slathered with salsa, the nerve of them calling us screwy On the dashboard piled high were half-empty cruises of gin ... You probably did after all those interesting treats. I loved your amusing title, what a cute one :) My uncle used to have a little plastic hula dancer on his dashboard, safer then gin I guess when diving A cute one that made me smile and smile.

I wonder how champagne with a hint of avocado would taste. I guess after a few of those I wouldn’t care how many anchovies slathered with salsa I’d eat, much less what anyone would think. Fun write, GW.

a 'tastefully' funny and witty poem, Gershon...smiling now. I liked 'cruises of gin' and sipping champagne from an avacado...will have to try that sometime. I love both of them but never thought of combining them...word play extraordinair. enjoy your day, Sara
