From the Hollow of An Avocado

Sipping champagne from the hollow
of an avocado, on a cactus-lined
         boulevard in St. Looie

   While munching on anchovies
      slathered with salsa, the nerve
         of them calling us screwy

   On the dashboard piled high
were half-empty cruises of gin ...
By the time we crashed the car
into a passing trolley car ~
I swear I saw Busch Brewery spin

You probably did after all those interesting treats. I loved your amusing title, what a cute one :) My uncle used to have a little plastic hula dancer on his dashboard, safer then gin I guess when diving A cute one that made me smile and smile.

I wonder how champagne with a hint of avocado would taste. I guess after a few of those I wouldn’t care how many anchovies slathered with salsa I’d eat, much less what anyone would think. Fun write, GW.
