From Sally With Love

Sally, with her warm pink tongue of love
Save from excruciating pain by God above
Expressed doggie love the only way she could
Her fireman savior received her love as he should

God’s love pours out even in Sally’s most unique way
She refused not God’s request to return love that day
Most assuredly her gratitude was expressed to say,
“Thank you master fireman for your compassionate way!"

Sally’s most unusual love by action goes on to say…
“Fireman a special breed, thanks for saving my seed...

Should a man best friend be left alone in a pen
For days on end without food, water or friend
Domesticated, their wild nature having been abated
Mistreated and abused, creatures of love refused?"

Should not all humanity learn to give love as she
Pets give out service of God’s love to you and me
They present their flesh, altho their heads are bashed
Pets provide pleasure, are abused beyond measure!

Sally sums it all up, offering of her tongue a sup,
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”
Sally’s isn’t a pet by choice, she hasn’t any voice
Her Message made possible in a tongue from above!

From Sally and family love!

John, you conveyed the message of the photograph in such a special way. Not only do you remind us of the love animals show us, but you also speak out against animal abuse. I think Sally and other animals show the purest kind of love, don't you? All they really want is kindness in return -- no greed or envy, no ulterior motives. Sally is special and I hope she wins you a top spot in the contest. Love, Carolyn
