From Manger To Cross
From Manger to Cross
Written: by Tom Wright

From His nativity in a manger swaddled and still,
To His barbarous cross demise, on Calvary’s hill;
He willingly gave His life for all mankind that day,
Was compliant and sinless so we’d not have to pay;
Let us never forget or let facts be diminished,
Approaching end of suffering he cried “it is finished”.
Then from top to bottom the temple veil was rent,
After giving up the ghost my Savior’s life was spent.
God’s only son Jesus has paid my sin debt at Calvary,
So Salvation's free gift would come at no cost to me;
