From Hallmark Perhaps
Good morning and how are you; I hope you’re doing fine;
Hello and let me wish you well; for now and all the time.
How is it that you’re feeling; I haven’t heard a word;
I’m ok but worrying; I need to be assured;
How about you call me; or drop a line or two;
I’m worried you’ve forgotten me; and found somebody new.
So I made for you this little card; that I hope will touch your heart;
My love’s now even stronger than; they day we had to part.
I miss you every minute; I kiss your picture by the hour;
You name it I have been it; and I’m growing your favorite flowers.
I can’t tell you how I miss you; but you’ve heard this all before;
But every night that I’m in bed; I think I hear you at my door.
As you see I got it bad for you; my friends think I’m a dope;
But if they’d ever seen the best of you; they’d know why I can’t cope.
Don’t ask me to make sense to you; I’m way out of control;
I love you like the air I breathe; you really just don’t know.
Darling can you feel me; I’m a victim of your charms;
I’m praying you’ll come back to me; I’m here with open arms.
