Doc struggled to pull me from the womb In that small "room" I cared more to stay! Bad neck and spine are the price I pay

Dear Andrea, Hope you are having a great summer. Well, your words hit me with its quiet honesty and strength. Those few lines carry so much, life’s fierce struggle right from the very beginning, and the price paid quietly over time. It’s raw and real, and I admire your courage in sharing something so personal with such economy and power. Summer Blessings, Dear Andrea, Daniel

I like how this poem keeps it simple but real—shows that birth struggle in a way that feels honest and a little bittersweet. Makes you think!

Certainly makes an impact. I hope you don't suffer too often, Andrea. A gritty poem. :) john

That is sad Andrea, my grandson too had a difficult time being born, we're lucky to have that sweet boy. He too gets pain, I wonder if it was because of his birth.

You were stubborn. Maybe why you are such a fine writer...? Many things I could have been...and here I am. Go figure:)

Yes I am stubborn when it comes to certain things. When I had horrible neck pain in my 30s, different chiropractors told me I must have had neck trauma very very young. My mom told me of other incidents where my neck got twisted around in my early childhood. For example , my head caught between rungs of a crib. We can't predict these effects on us later in life.
