Friends Forever
Dear shadow,
When I was left alone,
Like a fish in the sea.
When no one else was there,
You still stood beside me.
Wherever I go,
I know you'll always follow,
And that helps me
Not to feel so hollow.
In the evening
You're taller than me,
And I can deal with that
To a certain degree.
As time drags by,
I know I'll be alright.
I know you'll always
Be in sight.
No one has my side,
I can see,
You're my only true friend.
