Friday Lesson

Good morning everyone, This week’s lesson is “Responding to the Will of God”, James 4:13-17 and we’ll start the discussion by defining the “Will of God”; describing some ways we have seen other Christians discern God’s Will and ways each of us determine God’s Will for our lives. Additional verses to read this week are: Length of Life: Job 9:25-26; Psalms 39:5, 11; Psalms 62:9; 90:5-6, 10. If the Lord wills: Proverbs 19:21; Acts 18:21; Romans 1:10; 1 Corinthians 4:19 A concern for His will and sovereignty: Deuteronomy 32:39; Job 12:9-10; Psalm 104:29; Hebrews 9:27 Priorities, Wealth and Uncertainty in life: Luke 12:13-21; Proverbs 27:1; Isaiah 46: 9-10 As you read, make some notes related to these questions: What does this scripture tell us about Christ?
