Friday Feeling
FRIDAY FEELING
Finally, my leisure time has come
Ringing alarm clocks are now all gone
I gave forty six years to working hard
Don't work at all, except in the yard
And only occasionally, will I sleep in
Yesterday's gone, a new day begins
Funny how time just slips away
Especially when we work all day
Even though I'm fully retired
Laziness is surely not desired
I feel like it's Friday every day
Never knew it would feel this way
Grateful to receive retirement pay
