Image result for pictures of pale apricot sunrise revealing heavy fog over a creek bottom

As the pale apricot sunrises casting glowing illuminations all around Revealing thick creek rise from the storms that rolled around Hoar's frost has wet dew bound so, there isn't a dripping dew sound Oh! bitter cold morn gnawing at my face when will spring surface? Shivering from the cold close the door and go inside

Dear Sara, Wow, the descriptions of that cold morning feel so alive. I love reading that each snapshot shows the season’s harsh beauty. I also liked the contrast between the stillness of the frost and the bite of the cold creates such a strong atmosphere, and I can feel the longing for spring in every word. Truly captivating! Winter Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Anne-Lise, I can't imagine how people who live farther north can take the cold of the winters that they have. Maybe it will be an early spring since this winter has been such a cold one. Sara K

As we grow older, extreme chill is something unbearable. Naturally we all seek the verdure and colors of spring. 'Pale apricot sunrise' aptly describes the sunrise of winter. May spring arrive at the earliest in your place! Well done, Sara!

Valsa, yes, I don't do well in the cold nor in the heat and humidity of summer. Spring's weather is lovely as is falls but not the pollen. Sara K
