Freedom
FREEDOM
Some there are who can never attain their own potential
For their friends prefer them to be safe and lovable;
And some who choke their mind’s impulse from traditional
Or irrational belief in circumstances which are unprovable.
Stone walls do not a prison make* but thoughts carved in stone.
Give me freedom to choose a destiny which is mine own.
