Frankly Scarlet

Clark Gable Vivian Leigh, both have a place in history. If we look back is it true that he sinned? His words have survived, they haven't "Gone With The Wind". Nineteen thirty nine the world was in shock, all those who heard him couldn't help but talk. They said the countries morals were in disrepair, now people say what they want and don't really care. Now entertainment is almost censor free, you can say what you want and see what you see. I guess in the end we really don't give a damn, we say we all care but we don't take a stand.

I still take a stand Rick, if anyone is over indulging in the swearing I ask em tio tone it down. Amazes me how the women put up with it. I'm sure it's the influence of the movies at fault here. This is a splendid write, truth and great message. Take care, Richard

I love this Richard. It is so true. He was fined $ 5.000 for saying those words. Now they say what they want and don't cost them a cent. Thanks for sharing. .. Lucilla

"Gone with the wind" one of my favorites.I will find the book Margeret Mitchel wrote which finally made to a movie. Great ! your choice in movies. Thanks for reviving my memory .

I was surprised to learn it came out in 1939, pretty amazing quality of film.

you did a good job with this one, Richard. I am liking these "I don't give a damn " entries!! About the restroom stops, I can't go more than three hours usually without having a restroom break and our average travel time each day on vacation was twelve hours. haha
