Fragrance of Thrown Away Rose

FRAGRANCE OF THROWN AWAY ROSE
It was sometime in the end of July When we’d agreed to meet on our first date My tense nerves were like stretched wire, I won’t lie The day had come after such a long wait. Whole night I couldn’t decide what to give Until I saw color of rising sun Take a bouquet, dreams the flowers would weave The florist made with crimson roses one. Twilight colors flushed the tree canopy She came smiling, blazing the garden track The flowers charmed her, I was so happy Not for long, the rose thorn prick made her shriek. The rose of my first date was thrown away Its fragrance touches us till today.
