Fragments of Cloth
Fragments of Cloth
A turn of head
and eyes that led
to catch onlookers gaze
it always worked
those come on ways
but guilt he couldn't shed.
but underneath
his inner skin
behind his lofty grin
he had no soul
for hearts he stole
no matter where or when
The lady gone
his pain disguised
his life is just for one
no second thoughts
its just his way
he smiled
but thinks she's won.
Not sorry now
its just his way
no fool to bow his head
he stands up tall
takes on them all
to quell what gossips said.
He's happy now
its just his way
attention's all he had
so leave him be
he wasn't bad
a flirt and just a fad.
