Thank you very much BJ, it's a fragile world we live in, thankfully most of it is sabre rattling, unfortunately there's more players in the game, some are unhinged. Hope your new year is off to a good start. Tom

Thank you for your return visit Gershon, thankfully we're still here, the fragile peace is holding for now, there would be no winners and even the unhinged know that. Tom

Amen, Tom! Peace is truly the desire of our hearts and has to be the work of our hands, words and voices! There is great depth in your simple words with an inherent challenge to be peacemakers wherever we go! Blessings on the work of your words. Best wishes for the contest. Over Fork Over.

Thank you very much Sam, never known the world to be so unstable, it's a blessing to wake each day to find our world intact. Peace is all that everyone wants apart from a few who are hell bent on conflict. Over Fork Over. Hope you're keeping well. Tom

Tom, we certainly hope we can preserve this beautiful place and return it to pristine condition. Hard to watch all the degradation and destruction unfold. Food for thought if one is willing to look. Many people can't seem to. Every little bit helps!!

Thank you very much Duke, I don't think Putin is such an idiot that he would press the button, it's the likes of Iran and that dog in Nth Korea that worries me. Tom

Thank you very much Joseph, I’ve never known it so bad, land or religion is the usual spark that turns man against man. Tom

Hello Tom, My prayers are for peace every where between all people. It may be just a fantasy and wishful thinking. I have to believe that our God is in control and that one day, heaven's gates will open. Well, inked and well said. Autumn Blessings, MY Dear Friend, Daniel

Likewise, Tom..Ever since 1/20/2016, i wake eager to hear the news to find outIs The Rest Of The World Still There? Lately it’s been likewise due to middle east hostilities…Are we not beyond being Neoliths around our campfires believing the Earth is flat? Super penning. Best of luck

Thank you very much Sally, all the conflicts seem to center around land or religion, it seems mankind will use any excuse to inflict harm on his fellow man. Wars and conflicts should be consigned to the history books where they belong. Hope your week is going well. Tom

My dear Tom, your one line poem says it all. Indeed, as long as we can see the sky we are still on this planet. I trust our scientists and Law makers can see it too and peace will reign. Hugs Maria

Thank you very much Maria, I hope so too, a nuclear war nobody will win, I hope the despots of the world realise that too. Tom

Yes, peace is fragile. One little mistake then it will fall apart. With bombs exploding, missiles being fired, etc. there is anything but peace. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Reads like a good contender for the contest to me. Way to go.

Thank you very much Sara, Worrying times for sure, never known it so bad, all over land and religion, it's worse than the cold war of the 60's. Tom

Oh! So well said, Tom, I guess the title says it all... Peace is so fragile in our war-torn world.. P. S: I'm doing well by God's grace, thanks for asking:)

Thank you very much Joanna, so much hatred in the world, there's evil everywhere and it's always the innocent that suffer the most. Tom
Date: 11/9/2024 12:18:00 AM
Tom that is all we have is hope my friend. As you have stated there are so many out there with Hatred toward America. Even the Dirty bombs they have that not much is talked about the ones they can fit in a suitcase. I know one thing Tom and everything is pointing to Iran. I would not be surprised if either Israel takes out their Nuclear weapons development structure, or The US and Israel do it. It is inevitable you can bet your bottom dollar it will happen. I pray and hope it doesn't but it is too much of a threat...

Thank you very much Michael, I remember President Bush referred to Iran, Russia and Nth Korea as The axis of evil, how true that was. Unfortunately you can't reason with these people, there is no compromise, the only option for the survival of all humanity is to strike first. Hope it doesn't come to that though, we live in hope. Tom

... to Israel and America. The good news is that they Iran has not build a nuclear missile yet as we know. These long range missiles can travel 3100 miles if launched from Iran they can hit Europe. Thank God they don't have them. They have added four hundred tanks from the sale of oil. Thanks Tom for your hopeful piece my friend lets hope for the best. I did not see this one from you Tom until today. Sorry for being late to comment...
