Fragile Hearts

The heart can be so fragile, after broken many times Struck by pain, sometimes sudden, unexpected like a crime Life goes on, we build our walls, to protect the final blow to the heart Thinking, maybe next time there will be no recovery from falling apart So, it takes a special person who understands this meaningful fact In order to build a trustworthy reunion and make a worthy pact With a priority to respect each other, and to never forget There is a fragile heart inside, carrying that love like a magnet Heidi Sands 9/27/17

Yes, the heart can be very fragile if not held just right! Love is the key, and if it is stolen away from us, we begin to build walls to protect ourselves from the pain and heartache that we felt, and don't want to feel again! Thus, it's harder to love properly again! I have been hurt several times in the far past, but I just think that if it wasn't for those I wouldn't have found the love of my life! What a wonderful poem Heidi! Great Work my friend!!
