Forgiveness is a gift of God's Grace absolutely no merit of man can obtain it it's all purely of God's abundant mercy for it's needed to make one spiritually fit To receive forgiveness one must admit sin recognise you're a sinner far from God's grace show a spirit of repentance to turn from sin putting Jesus Lord over everything in your place Before forgiveness is available to you one must show repentance to the saviour this comes only when God gives this gift repentance truly shown by one's behaviour The biblical form of real forgiveness is as Jesus said seventy times seven one must live this out for each day so to be sure of getting to heaven
