Forgive Me Lord
FORGIVE ME LORD
Forgive me Lord that I cannot be saved
For me the road to Hell has been paved
I have no cause, to blame on my demise
Whether to I am a fool or am I just wise
To the parallel lines, that I cannot define
To what the truth is for I remain to blind
For what I see is not what others do see
That I have now come to question in me
All things that were before to me, taught
As those righteous thoughts into bought
Thus, take away these shackles that bind
And the price I pay for not being so blind
I have eaten from thou tree of knowledge
The ground beneath me is no longer solid
The roots around me faulting in their grip
Into the quagmire of deceit, I thus do slip
So in my pride I will not plead to be saved
As for me the road to Hell has been paved
