Forget Me-Knots

~Without~

He loves me`
He loves me without'

Sometime has passed,
I'm still without.
A wish~
I forgot to make that night.
Heaven and earth, I cast behind my eyes.
A beautiful sail, that in time will collide.

A tower, I can't reach.
Without the proxy deepness in your beating,
life will hold no breach.
Without the intense shine in your eyes.
I'm an exile, In my own home.
I can't find the sweetness it holds.
I run from myself.
In hopes that my future never unfolds.
A cure, I live without.
I bathe under my oak tree.
This bacteria I can't live without.
I'm breathing and lost with out glee.
Injured on this orchid ground.
I crawl without a kissing sound.

I face the golden sun, as the rain pours on me.
Without the feeling of my skin.
I have no reason to be~
Fungus grows in my domain.
I have nothing, YET~ I HAVE IT ALL!
The friction grows and burns blisters all over my wall.
The swelling compels a surface only I feel.
Without the look and voice of your laughter.
I walk a long* long walk.

A life without, your breath.
Is no life at all...
Outcropped, from the outside.
Lacking the perfect boundary.
This world shops for an appearance without surface.

My smile hangs without the beauty found in the word happiness.
In a world full of "be"gotten knots.

:-)

Another superb writes my friend, where emotions and desires have touched new heights from your creative pen. Sometimes with hopes and sometimes with tears in eyes. 'Injured on this orchid ground, I crawl without a kissing sound." The entire Poem is just beautiful and a new Gem in your treasure. Love and best wishes always…Ravindra…Poet D

I love the part that says, "I run from myself in hopes my future never unfolds." This is so beautiful and powerful. You not only create strong images in my head as I read this but especially strong emotions! Great work.

The emptiness is ours to cherish. But without love we're bound to perish. The grayness that emits it's charm. Won't neccesarily cause us harm. It's hard to know which rose to pluck. Or if it's love or if it's luck. But time will tell you when to call. For with each breath your heart will fall.

This is a beautiful, descriptive verse. You have captured your emotions with such powerful imagery. There's beauty in all human emotions. We all feel this way at times. Your poem resonates with me. Truly incredible.

My thoughts on this are that it is excellent poetry because it captures the essence of emotions and smacks them right dab down on the page. They are powerful, dramatic, and vibrant emotions, but my hope for you PD is that you find that happiness upon which to hang your smile. Only the truly lost value the external, intrinsically we are sinners from the start and resolute opposition of this nature must be our highest aspiration. Cathartic is it not, this poetry? :)

Irma, don't ever sell yourself short. Your imagery here shines with uniqueness. Also, You won the Soup's INternational contest for that exact same reason. sometimes you just come up with some really cool imagery that can't be beat. That is the poet's soul in you breaking free. the last line of this poem, for example, "my smile hangs. . . " outstanding!
