Forevermore

If only this "ice queen", who resides within my heart, could carve an escape thru these most frozen cold walls ridding herself of that musty sweater meant to protect her then perhaps, one day she would thaw; but again, who am I to say she should chance stepping out into the sun just to collapse? Having been rendered lost, disillusioned, and stupid silly her belief is, she's tainted and no one will ever love her again Succinct thoughts heavy laden with unworthiness, signal clear it is I, and I alone, who must shake these most torturous of feelings and breathe passion, new life into the old queen's bones one last time ..... this time for myself and forevermore!
