For the joy, for the love, for the hope
Silencing every doubt, reassuring
Promising my heart there will be light
Reflecting all the wonders I long for
The yearnings that remind me
His love is all that brings true peace
His love is the only thing that inspires
The soul to listen to the wisdom of giving
Without expectation of compensation
For the song, the grace, the ways
That force me to listen to His words
The instructions of all those amazing verses
The guidance felt by a heart who knows
He is the way, the truth, the life…
He is the answer when my prayer inquires
His direction, affection, correction…
The light of His love, His reassurance
His eternal gift of a forever with Him
For the prayer, the promise, the praise
That reminds me His love will always make a way
His light shines bright in my heart
When darkness shadows my every thought
His grace is always there to bring me hope
When I can’t find anything to really confirm
The words that bring my spirit encouragement
The scriptures that guarantee my salvation
The miracle of a love that is without exception
For Him – I will always give my very best
For Him – I will always confess my sinfulness
For Him – I will always give back my complete appreciation
All my faith, my thanks, my love that is His for the taking
FOR HIM – I will know what is means to be completely grateful!
