Forever Friend

Forever Friend Written: by Tom Wright 11-10-2016 You feel, to me, just like my kinship, Although, I know, it’s only in my mind. But my thoughts suggest I’ve adopted, The most awesome friend I could find. I confess you’ve caused some tears to flow, During a period when at a young age; But one day, to you, came life changes, A loving God pried you from that stage. Time whispered by and became lost years, From a life period when time was young; God opened and purged a heart of stone, Giving you a song that you’d never sung.
