Forever

I could have danced as forever moved along letting the music play our song, on and on and on in perpetuity of the bond existing between you and me, but the melody is melancholic bringing back all the early day frolics, of heartaches with its tears when time was ours over the years living the dream come true; now, it's just a memory, more than one or two a sanguine respite of the dream that was with you when you were my all, the love that it was to bring destined forever to be my everything; was it just the dream rehearsed drowned and immersed in our foolish youthful promisings hopeful, whimsical imaginings; a lasting love throughout all time come what may full circle, never easy to find, full of laughter, joyous love, then tragedy living life, at work, at home, at play in harmony; sadly now, beyond the dream that once was finally out of my control and severed I long for the forever remaining within our souls.
