Let us pray for the pilots And hope they fly in heaven. Let us pray for the passengers And hope they’ve reached a peaceful destination. Let us pray for the workers And hope they’re now at rest. Let us pray for the mourners And hope their loved ones are in conditions best. Let us pray for those who burned And hope they are now soothed. Let us pray for those who fell And hope they rose from that hell. “Never forget.” The Americans tell. Whoever these sufferers were, In the eyes of those who knew them Nobody deserved to suffer like that On the date of 9/11. Whoever you are today, Move forward in good endeavours Even if you are sad and a sufferer too, No pain lasts forever.
