For the record

My heart beats like a hammer in my chest No respite, no rest, no rest, no rest Metaphorical corners that I am trapped in No action/reaction now could result in a win Withdraw out of the game as energy fails No direction to run, we're chasing our tails Time will pass, I'll let it do the healing It's just not sustainable the way I'm feeling My mind is getting fixed on what you said I can't quantify what went on in your head Insistence I say what you want to hear How does that work? I'm really unclear I could be wrong but I feel what I feel I'm questioning myself but feelings are real I'll hold my tongue but my mind is racing Surely no point to the validation you're chasing Context is important but that's outside the chat I feel put in my place, I'm not ok with that The more you insist and demand an about turn The more I feel changes of heart are earned I've hidden away but I'll get called out He'll ask what I'm doing, cast me in doubt I might be wrong, I might be wrong Time passes, time passes, be strong, be strong I wasn't pursued, I sit alone in this room Guitar music floats in, I am part of this gloom I'm not alone, the dog is by my side I am letting the day pass, not trying to hide

When in doubt take a little time out, seems to be the theme here Dilly, time will pass, sometimes it’s difficult to know what’s going on in someone else’s head, especially when it doesn’t make sense, doesn’t mean we are wrong or right, but just human which can be baffling enough in itself, hopefully tomorrow it will make more sense, a lonely and poignant piece of poetry, cheers David

Good advice David. Humans are indeed complicated, time fixes a lot though. Thanks for your comment
