For My Sister, Mosquitos, and Skiing
My beloved sister,
people come and go
Sadly it’s a part of life
But hold onto those who are there for you
Not ones that are like mosquitos.
Sticking to you only to suck out your happiness,
Leaving you with an itchy bump
Wondering why?
So keep dreaming,
Write your songs
Sing your heart out
On life’s stage
And don’t let them put you into a cage
Because you’re a lion and you were meant to roar.
This is your life
Your mountain to climb up
and then ski down
letting your success carry you down the slope.
I love you sis.
I’ll be home soon.
