L ike a tiny butterfly, she’s flitting, cute and rosy, I n and out, and round about - each and every posy! N ever tiring; on a quest for beauty. Watch her go. D ynamo in that small frame, she flutters to and fro A s her poems keep spilling forth with inspiration’s flow! M onarch of our kingdom; the words inside her whirl. A lighting, she releases them; then returns to swirl. R hyme and rhythm dance along I n her pretty head, E ffortlessly carried on the wind by wings outspread. B ut it’s more than poetry Linda is about! A ll who know her know how fun she is when she gets out!! R ed-winged passion’s butterfly loves beach and honey-poo. I taliano, pure bravado, friend to me and you! A lways happy, ever faithful, smart, and loving, N ot a snooty! Sweet patootie. Always in the loop, A nd I’m glad I met such a good friend at the Soup! This was my own dedication I had written for Linda after I first got to know her here at Poetry Soup. Hard to believe that she is now passed away. RIP forever, Linda, Sweetheart of Poetry soup.
