For He Has Changed

Once raised by folks who screamed and yelled He grew up in a living Hell He hardly knew he acted strange Forgive him, please, for he has changed They fought by day, again at night Each sure that he was in the right His tender mind they rearranged Forgive him, please, for he has changed At times they lashed out and they hit They thought he wasn't hurt a bit But he almost became deranged Forgive him, please, for he has changed... Those years have passed, he's all alone He hopes that he can start a home His life he seeks to rearrange Please help him now, for he has changed Iambic Tetrameter
