For a While
I'm sorry for not being there
when you needed me the most,
I'm sorry for being somewhere
when you were grieving and lost.
In my head you paced back and forth,
In my dreams you cried endlessly,
You were the saddest person on Earth,
And I was there beating my demons weakly,
Easy dear now I'm back,
Easy dear let me now make you smile,
For I love you that's a fact,
I'm sorry for making you wait for a while.
