For 1,000th Poem So Check it Out
By so many things I have been smitten
This if for 1,000th poem which was written
For Poetry Soup and flourishing poets there
Finding poems nourishing but hard to bare.
Sure seemed to suffer a lot and much
Some with me refusing to stay in touch
Not only did he decide I was idiotic
Came to the conclusion I am psychotic.
Of my poems which one represents me?
Is their a possibility you may agree
Even after having said for heaven's sake
Another poem for you will I write and make?
Thousand poems set to be my greatest goal
And what if a few from other people I stole
Their poems claiming them to be mine
Would that really be too far out of line?
Forget it all and did decide to continue on;
When I am all finished, dead and gone
Afraid Horn's poems were full of God's wrath
Which is what they put on his epitaph.
Now come on. You can't tell that didn't
